Oooh – I love a good lime margarita on a hot summer’s day…Luckily, my husband is a bartender by trade and can make a great one. Of course, I always like whatever cool concoction he makes for me too.
I could so use this. I need to get some summer basics for my kids. I suppose my favorite summer drink would be strawberry lemonade or an apple martini that’s my favorite drink all the time.

I am so simple…it’s just not funny. Give me an ice cold Pepsi or Coke. Ice Cold Sweet Tea or a Strawberry Banana Smoothie. Sorry don’t drink…so if you were thinking along those lines…I don’t have one

So not the healthiest of drinks but I love Coke flavored icees! On the healthier side, I like sparkling water and juice and of course when I’m not pregnant ….. I enjoy Malibu and pinapple juice!

My favorite summer drink would probably be sweet tea with spearmint from the garden (to be precise, sun tea with the mint in it as it brews.) SO GOOD!

Definitely a margarita! Seems they are making them in all colors and flavors lately, but a good-old-fashioned classic lime is my favorite! And salt the rim please!

Chocolate Monkey
1 shot banana liqueur, 2 shots creme de cacao, 2 scoops chocolate ice cream, 1 oz chocolate syryp, 4 oz chocolate milk
1 1/2 oz whipped cream, 1 cherry, 1 piece bananas
Blend liqueurs with ice-cream, milk and syrup. Pour into a parfait glass, top with whipped cream and garnish with banana and cherry.
Or just a cold Diet Coke

Fresh Squeezed lemonade. Growing up we always had a lemon tree and lemonade is still my favorite, cool tart, and refreshing, it reminds me of summer. I still make it whenever I get a chance!
My favorite is Boston Iced Tea… iced tea with cranberry juice. Blended lemonade from Starbucks is good too… and when we were young and poor we would mix a small frozen concentrated lemonade in a blender with ice and a little water..use juice for the kids
In my book, nothing beats a good mojito with fresh mint and sugarcane! Mmmmm….

We went to a friend’s house last night and had Zombies! I had bever had one, but it was very fruity (it had Bacardi light rum, Bacardi dark rum, triple sec, orange juice and sweet & sour) Very summery!
