Who ever heard of a mall chain that helps shoppers pick out their clothes? I mean, that’s high-end stuff only really nice department stores offer, right?  Not anymore!  Westfield centers is on it and they are helping their customers shop smart and look great!  It makes sense, doesn’t it? If you are happy with your experience and the items you buy, you’ll go back.  You’ll tell your friends. They will shop Westfield. It’s a win-win for all!

How Westfield is helping your shop smart and look great:

Westfield has teamed up with style goddess, Stacy London who is the owner of Style for Hire and creative director for Westfield Style.  It’s a great partnership.  Style for Hire is a key component in making your shopping experience a great one because they’ve launched personal styling services on demand at select Westfield centers this month!

The focal point of the new offering is the Westfield Style Lounge, a dedicated space in the mall where professional stylists will provide free personalized style consultations for shoppers. Additionally, shoppers can get advice on demand right from their mobile phone via the new Ask A Stylist service. Shoppers simply e-mail a photo of their look to the on-call stylist for an instant response.  So cool, right?!

Serving as a true professional styling service, the Westfield Style Lounge and Ask A Stylist is staffed by experts from Style for Hire—a network of personal stylists trained by Co-founder and Stylist-in-Chief Stacy London, the acclaimed host of TLC’s What Not To Wear, frequent contributor on NBC’s Today Show and Creative Director for Westfield Style. The Westfield Style Lounge provides an intimate environment within the Westfield shopping center where fashion secrets and customized style recommendations are available to all shoppers who simply walk-up to the Style Lounge, make appointments in advance on the Westfield Mobile App (for iPad, Android, or Blackberry), or via www.westfieldstylelounge.com.

“The goal is to help the Westfield shopper overcome fashion fears, become a trendsetting fashionista in her own right, and most important— love the way she looks,” said Lee Sterling, Vice President of Marketing – Fashion Platform for Westfield. “At the same time, the Westfield Style Lounge experience is an educational opportunity, offering women a “fashion road map” that helps her more effectively navigate the mall and find the shops, trends, and product lines that make the most sense for her.”

The Westfield Style Lounge experience will debut this Spring at three premier Westfield shopping centers: Westfield Garden State Plaza and Westfield Trumbull (in the New York DMA), and Westfield Montgomery (in the Washington D.C. DMA). The lounges will operate for approximately 20 hours each week during peak business hours. Later in the year, the program will be expanded to other favorite Westfield shopping centers in top national markets.

I can’t wait for it to come to So Cal! What an awesome shopping tool!

Disclosure: I am working with Westfield Style and am receiving compensation.  I am really excited about this partnership!
