I Want Wavy Hair Like Sienna Miller

You all know that I love my keratin treated hair. It’s sleek, smooth, soft, shiny and straight! But, that doesn’t stop me from wanting to have waves like Sienna Miller once in a while! Every mom should mix it up and go with a different hairstyle often! Waves are a great way to change up your look and make your style soft and pretty for any of the upcoming holiday events!
I came across this great feature in the August People StyleWatch explaining how to get Wavy Hair, no matter what your hair type is!
You have Wavy Hair:
- Get smooth body: Spritz wet hair with frizz-controlling spray to prevent flyaways; then apply texturizing spray gel to roots to add lift before blow-drying straight
- Reintroduce waves: Using a 1 1/4″ curling iron, wrap hair in small sections, leaving out the ends. Apply finishing cream to ends to create separation.
- Recommended products: Fakkai Marine Hair Zero-Humidity Frizz Control spray, Fakkai Coiff Bouffant Lifting & Texturizing Spray Gel, Fakkai Coiff Magnifique Ultra-Light Finishing Creme
You have Straight Hair:
- Give a boost: Spritz volumizing spray at the roots, then blow-dry, using a round brush to bring hair forward and away from the face (this builds body).
- Hold the shape: Apply a light hair spray all over before curling sections of hair with a 1 1/4″ curling iron, keeping ends straight.
- Recommended products: Neil George Volumizing Spray, Herbal Essences Tousle Me Softly Hairspray
You have Curly Hair:
- Relax strands: Comb straightening cream through hair before blow-drying it straight with a round brush.
- Add a bend: Starting 2″ to 3″ from the roots, wrap sections of hair around a 1 1/4″ curling iron, leaving the last 1″ of hair out. Use pomade at the ends for separation.
