Your body is 70% water! You must replenish the water lost from your body every day by drinking more water. The habit of drinking plenty of water will help you maintain a healthier body, your skin will glow, your energy will increase and your thirst will disappear.

What kind of water you drink matters. Unfortunately, the healthiest water does not come in convenient plastic bottles:

“The best way to keep water truly fresh and pure is to store it in a glass container. All plastic bottles leach plastic byproducts like BPA and phthalate into the water, affecting both taste and purity. The longer water sits in a plastic container, the more contaminated the water will become.” (source)

Who wants contaminated water? Certainly not you! And, certainly not your children!

Aquasana published a great article called, “How water quality affects your children’s health.” It states that, “Although poor quality water isn’t good for anyone, it’s particularly harmful for young children. Because of their smaller size, the way their immature bodies work and the way many contaminants build up and persist in their bodily tissues, your children are more vulnerable to the ill effects of contaminated water than adults.

Children younger than five make up just 10 percent of the world’s population, but they comprise 40 percent of those suffering from physical illnesses associated with water contamination worldwide: diarrhea, dehydration, asthma, allergies, and lead poisoning. Water that seems fine to you can make your child really sick.”

My son drinks a TON of water. It’s so good for him and I’m happy to see him develop this healthy habit. However, he is sucking down the water from plastic bottles.

It’s time for a change.

I was recently sent a very affordable Aquasana Countertop Water Filter and glass water bottle to help me create safer drinking water for my family. The filter reduces microscopic particles and removes greater than 97% of chlorine and chloramines from tap water. It connects to the kitchen faucet and is super easy to install. Use it to fill glass drinking bottles and store for future consumption. The water is fresh, crisp and best of all, safe to drink!

With back-to-school in full gear, send your kids to school with a new Aquasana glass water bottle. They are heavy duty and you can purchase silicone sleeves to go over the bottles. They provide a nonslip grip for the bottle and are available in 6 colors.

Now that you know how to create healthier drinking water for your family, get creative and make some yummy Aquasana Infustions!

  1. Water is the only thing my family drinks (with the exception of a.m. coffee -_-), this would be so used in our house!

  2. I would love to win this. We are on a private well and although we do not have to deal with chlorine in our water except for our once a year “bleaching” there are all sorts of other “goodies” to deal with that contribute to an off taste and particulates floating around. We have had it tested, multiple times, it is safe, just icky. and that icky contributes to us not drinking as much water as we should. I refuse to pay for factory bottled water too

  3. I want to win so I can provide my family with safe drinking water.

  6. I would love to win this to have the safgest drinking water possible. Our town’s water recently win a statewide blind taste test – but just last week they closed on of the wells due to high levels of something.

  7. THIS would be such a great incentive to drink more water as it would help me and my family feel more cmfortable about the safety of our tap water

  8. I want to win because I am all about saving some $$ and eliminating bottled, filtered water from my weekly shopping will be a boost to my budget. Maybe enough for some new shoes!

  9. iwant to win this because I really worry our water is not great and having fresh filtered pure water would make it easier to drink more

I could eliminate using water bottles and just use the filter water in recyclable bottles

  11. I just bought a house (an OLD house) and need a good drinking water system. We’ve been working on the house every day since we got it and drink TONS of water every day in this summer heat. This would be such a refreshing treat for us and keep us healthy by removing the impurities and it would keep us from drinking from all the plastic bottles that are so convenient and wasteful. I like A Mom in Red High Heals and Aquasana on Facebook too.

I have a well and it’s full of arsenic, would love to have pure drinking water. I also drink water and one coffee in the morning. Would love to win your filtration system.
