Van Cleef & Arpels Féerie Ondine Fragrance: Worth Every Penny

Feerie Ondine I truly love the brand Van Cleef & Arpels. Though I could only aspire to own a piece of Van Cleef jewelry one day, the luxury brand’s fragrance variants offer a price point much more to my liking. And the packaging for the Féerie fragrance franchise is certainly something to marvel at. It’s no surprise that they are now offering a line extension for the franchise as the bottle was probably so expensive and elaborate to create that it would take a collection of ten fragrances to make it worth it. That said, it’s time to discuss the fragrance.

It’s a charming green floral that’s hauntingly familiar, even though I just can’t place where I’ve smelled this blend before. The best way to describe it would be merging the odors of department store lipsticks with Dolce & Gabbana’s Light Blue citrusy-floral gem of a fine fragrance. I am certainly picking up some exotic, Mediterranean citrus followed by soft, delicate violets and green violet leaves. The base notes in Féerie Ondine (musk, benzoin and sandalwood) are great because they are what give this fragrance great sillage, allowing the wearer (and those around her) to indulge in this soft and pleasant scent for hours as it slowly evaporated from her skin.

A great overall effort for this fragrance, which I feel will appeal to a very broad spectrum of women. Ultimately, the long-lasting qualities of this pleasant fragrance will be why I would purchase and wear this fine fragrance and recommend it to you. It truly performs on the skin and is totally worth every penny.
