Update Your Skin Care for Warm Weather

As the dry, cold weather comes to an end soon, not only do you need to change up your wardrobe and makeup, you’ll need to change up your skin care as well! It’s time to start shopping for a lighter formula of moisturizer that contains SPF.

The formula for finding the right warm weather moisturizer is simple:

  1. It needs to have SPF
  2. It needs to be oil free
  3. It needs to be moisturizing
  4. It needs to have a pleasant smell
  5. It needs to be at a great price point
  6. It needs to be easy to find at a nearby retailer
  7. It needs to be free of harsh chemicals.

The answer:

Simple Skincare Protecting Light Moisturizer with SPF 15

I was actually surprised by how much I liked this moisturizer.  Most oil free moisturizers I have tried are watered down and leave my skin wanting more moisture but this formula has a great creamy feel going on!  It is gentle enough for sensitive skin because no artificial perfume, dyes or harsh irritants are used.

What makes Simple so skin-yummy is a blend of skin-loving ingredients and added vitamins.  Pro-Vitamin B5 and Vitamin E head the fight against dry skin.  This formula makes for an excellent daily moisturizer as well as an SPF that can be reapplied throughout the day as needed and it doesn’t feel thick like sunscreen.

Simple is available at many mass retailers online and off including Walgreens, CVS, Amazon, Soap.com, Target and more!

Thanks for the recommendation. Actually I think one should be covered with SPF the entire year. The sun can be quite damaging to the skin in the winter as well – you just do not notice it because you are not getting skinburn. But the damage you do not see can be contributing to aging etc.
