I had to chuckle a bit that a moisturizer also claimed to “minimize the appearance of unwanted hair“. I mean, it makes sense considering it all has to do with your face and your skin…but I am not a hairy person. So I felt a bit like I was using something that I shouldn’t. Crossing my fingers that it didn’t have the reverse effect on my face. Alas, it didn’t. Whew! what a sigh of relief.
I actually liked the Aveeno Positively Smooth Facial Moisturizer quite a bit. It was not too heavy nor did it have an odor. The moisturizer soaked into my skin quickly and did not leave a greasy residue or feeling to my face.
I did see a slight improvement to my skin tone. A bit clearer then what it was prior to using the moisturizer but nothing that I could really attribute to the moisturizer. All in all I would use this again because it was not too thick and left my skin feeling refreshed. But I would choose to use it for it’s moisturizing properties. I wasn’t too sold on whether it worked for unwanted hair, improving skin tone or texture.
Overall…I liked it.
