With Hanukkah and Christmas behind us, we are looking on to New Year’s Eve. My family will be cozying up on the coach watching the Disney Channel countdown, with the fire burning in the fire place, snacks galore and noise makers ready for celebrating. If you have an evening out planned, you’ll want to look your glamorous best! Follow these tips from Beauty Task Force member, Loren Ridinger to help you look your best:
After all of the holiday festivities this season, it’s time to start planning for the last big party of the year: New Year’s Eve! Whether you are having a small get together with your kids and neighbors or are heading out for a night on the town, here are a couple of tips for getting ready to celebrate 2010:
- Monochromatic colors! This has a slimming effect and leaves no doubt that everything matches. If you are choosing a LBD, pair it with black tights and black shoes (if you want a pop of color add a bright bag).
- Keep jewelry and hair simple and sexy – you don’t want to overdo it on the bling or hair products!
- Make up is always the fun part for me! If you are leaning towards a more relaxing evening, subtle neutrals should do the trick. Otherwise, glam it up with a smoky eye or a red lip.
For a neutral look, be sure to fill in your brows using Motives® Essential Brow Kit (this will frame your face and give you a youthful appearance).
