The Ticket to Salon Hair at Home: LiQWD

The one thing I never skimp on is my hair product. My hair is long and color treated and in order to keep it looking good I have to invest in it. I have tried the less expensive versions of professional hair products and usually end up disappointed with a more than half full bottle sitting under the sink. I find that paying less means it works less. So there sets up my hair snob status but also my expertise when it comes to reviewing a new hair product. When given the LiQWD Hydrating Shampoo, Conditioner and Professional Smoothing Catalyst I looked forward to trying it out.

After using the product for over a week I was very impressed with the results. You know the feeling your hair has AFTER a blowout at your hairstylist and then it is never to return till your next visit? The LiQWD products give you that professional feel. My hair feels and looks silky smooth with a beautiful shine. LiQWD has two specifics lines in their Nano Hydration Series: Hydrating and Volumizing. Both are meant to help eliminate the flat iron, protect from blowdryer damage and nourish your hair from root to tip.

LiQWD not only offers the shampoo and conditioner but a Smoothing Catalyst and Volumizing Catalyst that is used on towel-dried hair before blow drying. I looooved the Smoothing Catalyst. It was created to tame fly-aways and frizz and it does just that. I think that was the ticket in giving me that professional salon feeling after I styled my hair. The one caution I would give with this particular product is that since I typically like to only wash and style my hair every other day, don’t overdo it on the Smoothing Catalyst. One time I used too much and the next day my hair was just too oily to pull off. Knowing that, keep in mind your hair type when using the Smoothing Catalyst. All in all, I loved these products and would not only recommend them but look forward to trying some other products in their line.

There are a few other details about this product that won me over. It smells amazing, the packaging is gorgeous and the website is beautiful to shop at . I have come to appreciate these details in products because when you spend the money on products that are good for your hair it’s always nice to enjoy the smell and look of it.

I have found that since the product is so power packed that you can get away with using less.
