Do you remember Swatch watches? I do! They were an essential part of life in Junior High and High School for me. It was almost like Pokémon craze that our kids have had for the past couple of years: The one with the most wins! I am happy to see that Swatch is making a comeback in a big way: an appearance at this year’s NY Fashion Week! They will be partnering with Quail, an affordable, wearable classic line with modern, unexpected twists designed by LA native Michelle Nguyen Williams. I think the two brands are a nice compliment of chic and unique.
On September 11, from 2-4pm, models will showcase Quail’s Spring 2010 line out of an ice cream truck! Models will be looking fabulous and handing out highly sought after and delicious Van Leeuwan ice cream cones to VIP editors, writers, photographers, media members as well as important buyers in front of the tents at Bryant Park. Special guests will receive new Swatch watches from the Fall/Winter 2009 collection.
Fans can follow @SwatchUS on twitter to see where the van is and get a secret password. Go up to the truck with the password for the chance to win a FREE Swatch!
