Top 4 Shoes on My Summer Shoe Wish List

Summer is just over a month away and I have yet to buy any new strappy warm-weather shoes!  It’s time to get shopping before all the summer sandals are gone!

Yesterday Esther shared her summer shoe wish list.  Today, I’ll share mine.

Here are a few I have my eye on:

Steve Madden Motif- My daughter’s teacher has a pair similar to these and I admire them everytime she wears them!  They are the perfect summer sandal to compliment flirty sundresses!  The problem for me is that narrow t-strap adds length to my foot.  I really don’t need my foot to look longer so I’ve held off buying a sandal like this.  On Sale for $39.95

Modern Vintage Ancourt Flat- this is the most perfect little flat!  I love the silver (though the color name is gold…maybe there is a gold shimmer with different lighting), the bow and the delicate little peep hole that is on the top rather than in the front of the shoe.  So special!  Also, the back detail looks rather sporty so it’s a fun little combination of sweet and sporty!  The draw back?  These pretty little flats are $159 but I have asked to be notified when the shoe goes on sale (sign-up to be alerted on the shoe’s feature page at heels.com)!

Because no season is complete without a new pair of Red High Heels!  I found these very interesting “heels” by J-41 Journey that are Jeep® engineered and trail rated! They are part clog, part trail shoe, part sandal, part heel. They are also made from eco-friendly partially recycled rubber outsole.   Definitely worth trying on, right?  What do you think? $109

Chinese Laundry Riza Wedge- This is my favorite!  It’s a great heel height (2 3/4), the wide, pretty ruffle will camouflage my foot length, silver is fun and perfect for summer and the price is affordable at $59.99.  I was also able to view a video feature of the shoes being walked in on Heels.com (a great new feature at heels!).  The model walked beautifully without tripping or losing the shoe off her heel.  It gives me confidence that I will be able to walk comfortably in them.

I am going to order these but my friend said she saw them at Marshall’s so I am going to check there first.

UPDATE: After searching the web for my size of the Chinese Laundry Riza Wedge, I was finally informed by Zappos that my size was available!  I was thrilled, to say the least and ordered right away!  However when the shoes arrived, they were WAY TOO WIDE!  The length was fine.  Sadly, the shoes will be returned in the morning (fortunately, Zappos offers free returns!)
