I love this purple trend! My favorite purple is Ransom by Urban Decay but it may be time to brighten my look up a bit with the gorgeous Ultra Violet Liquid Eyeshadow from Estée Lauder!

I love the puple colors, but wearing them is tricky on me. I think it’s just the fact that, depending on your skin tone and eye color, you have to apply with caution. The purple hues can look like a black eye on some people.
One thing that I do to keep this from happening is mix them with warmer colors, like a nice peachy pink on the lower lid and only the purple in the corners or crease.
I’m not so sure if I’d look good in this shade. I’d have to experiment.
@All Women Stalker: There are many shades of purple, from light to dark. Start with a shade you are most comfortable with then amp it up a bit the next go round. Gradually increase the color saturation and you’ll be rocking this look in no time! Purple is fabulous for the tropics, no?
