Do you dream of being treated like a celebrity, rock star or very rich VIP? Maybe you already are one of those. If so, kudos to you! If not, you are still a Very Important Person…(who is more important than a MOM?!) and I want you to know that the beauty treatments provided to the stars ARE available to you!
This past Friday, I was on the most A-M-A-Z-I-N-G Beauty Tour of 4 of the best beauty spots in Los Angeles. I am blessed to be a part of the Total Beauty blogging community and they provided an extraordinary weekend of beauty and education for us! This post is just the beginning of sharing my great Adventure in Beauty with you!
One memory-making stop was at the Anastasia Brow Salon in Beverly Hills. Now, for those that don’t know, Anastasia is the brow guru to the stars! She does Oprah’s brows! She also works with Julia Roberts, Sharon Stone, Eva Longoria and SO MANY more!
Anastasia (shown above, daughter Claudia in the background) was available to talk with us. She has a wonderful Romanian accent that makes her even more exotic and beautiful! She is full of enthusiasm for helping people (men and women!) find their correct brow shape because it is such an important factor in how one looks! Anastasia could easily stop the plucking because she has built such a successful business but you can still find her on the salon floor helping clients get beautiful!
One lucky Beauty Tour attendee was blessed to have her own brows done by Anastasia! Check out the results of Annie from Bella Sugar eye brow makeover. Note the brow transformation is not drastic. Annie still has beautiful, full brows. The slight change in shape simply frames her lovely face in a more beautiful way. Look how it opens up her face! If you are in need of a little brow shaping and can’t get to LA to have a session with Anastasia, then you have some options. You can go to select Nordstrom locations that are offering Anastasia Brow Studios on site. For a location near you, search here. All of the brow experts are trained in the “Anastasia way” of doing brows.
Another option is to try it at home with the Anastasia 7- Piece Brow Kit. The kit contains the must have solution for perfect brows. Items included are: Brow Powder, Brow Gel, After Tweeze Cream, Eye Lights Matte Pencil, Brush (Angled Cut / Spooley), Precision Tweezers, and Stencils. Use this tutorial to help you with the process.
My recommendation? Get a professional to do it the first time and use your kit to maintain. You can never be too careful with your brow shape as it truly can make the difference in your overall beauty. For a change in your overall beauty, without the application of products, having a beautiful brow is the way to go! I remember the first time I had my own brows done and a woman I worked with commented that I some how looked even more beautiful…she asked what I had done. I just smiled, said thank you and kept my new brows a secret. Hey, if she couldn’t figure it out, why should I share? I was good with looking “even more beautiful” in her eyes! 
Beauty changes can be so subtle. It’s fun to keep people guessing. In fact, I think it’s more fun to have a little something done (like brows) that no one can pin point exactly what is different about you than it is to get a drastic change (hair color, perhaps) done. I want people to notice ME, not whatever it is that I changed.

I too was told at age 21, that I looked stunning after my initial brow job. I have been grooming them ever since! I never knew the difference a brow job could make until I got it done. I was almost mad at mom for not introducing me sooner. I just made a mental note to introduce my daughter. She is going to be 11 in June and I ALREADY want to get her caterpillars that are eyebrows shaped. =)
