Review: Velixa Age Defense for Day

I’m feeling totally pampered right now. I was sent a sample of Velixa Age Defense for Day. This cream is the “Bird by Juicy Couture” of skin care- modern, fashionably fabulous and coveted by all who want to be up on the latest in what’s what. Vexlixa is serious skin care in the most glamorous way.

A few of the benefits of Age Defense for Day include:

Reflects light softly away from lines and wrinkles so your face looks lit from within, displaying a youthful, healthy, supple glow.
Revitalizes your skin and reduces the visible signs of aging.
Green tea has been shown to fight bacteria and reduce inflammation.
Works quickly to produce new skin cells, rejuvenating elasticity, skin firmness, suppleness, and that healthy, youthful glow that can be hard to attain.
It feels like silk on my skin. Honestly, I’ve never applied a cream that feels as silky as this!

I love that the product uses ingredients like green tea, Edelweiss Extract and the most advanced age-defying ingredients such as Matrixyl 3000®, a powerful antioxidant composed from two peptides, which is a scientific breakthrough in cell rejuvenation. There is no doubt that this science behind this skin care will result in some significant improvements in skin health.

There is a fault to this wonder cream, however. There is no SPF. While I love all the age-defying ingredients in the Velixa Age Defense for Day, I can’t help think that if I wear a day moisturizer with SPF, I’ll be preventing some of those nasty aging processes that Velixa works so hard to fight! I think a better investment for my money will be the Velixa Youth Replenish for Night.
