Rebekah Green: Sustainable, Recycled, Handcrafted Jewelry
By Tammy | November 14, 2009

Rebekah Green, mom of 2, is an extraordinary business woman who works to make our world a more green place to live. Rebekah positions herself as a “reverse environmentalist” because she believes global responsibility is expected as much as it is commended. Her website, RebekahGreen.com, reads, “What if businesses just decided to be more responsible? And all of us decided to buy more intelligently? That’s really the bottom line.”
Rebekah’s newly launched jewelry line of fair trade, sustainable and entirely handmade jewelry features six unique earring design types.

- manufactured in the United States
- made exclusively with 100 percent recycled 14K and 18K gold (costing 30% more) and fair trade gemstones
- set with sparkling cubic zirconia, avoiding all potential “blood diamond” conflict issues and the overwhelming environmental damage associated with diamond mining
- delicate and lightweight, ensuring responsible use of natural resources
- accompanied with entirely biodegradable and plantable labeling
Rebekah has allocated five percent of net profits from earring sales to benefit Global Green USA, Charity: Water and Heifer International. The three lines (basics, luxury and youth/children) retail at three distinct price points: $20 – $30; $40 – $50; $60 and up.

I love this pair of Canary Princess Drop earrings sent to me by Rebekah. Wouldn’t they make a beautiful gift this holiday season? You’ll also love the kids earrings for any classy girl in your life!
Rebekah will be featured in the coming weeks in a Real Moms Real Beauty interview, until then follow her on Twitter (@TheGreenKiller) and get to know her!
