After a haircut and styling – my hairdresser is superb. I know I look good after being in her hands, and that makes me feel tremendously confident!
Wow, that’s a good question. I think knowing that I know how to speak. Yes, I talk one way with my friends and family and we are being silly but that knowledge that I have the experience and intelligence to present my best self at all times regardless of the situation. Because many times….you don’t get a second impression and you need to nail the first time! I don’t know if that makes sense?

I think great accessories make me feel sophisticated. Even if I am wearing jeans and a tee, if I have an amazing bag to hang from my arm I feel an air of sophistication. I guess that would probably have a root in feeling ‘put together’ well. Any time I can pull off a polished, refined appearance…..a great mani/pedi really, really helps!
I admit that I don’t feel very sophisticated all that often recently. Hmmm, I think this momma needs to spend a little more attention on herself!
What makes me feel sophisticated is knowing that I can always hold up my end of the conversation with anyone I meet on just about any topic. I just happen to be one of those people who are interested in EVERYTHING and I make it my business to be informed.
I love wearing my man tailored, silk pajamas in the mornings while I have my coffee (this can happen on the week-end only!). I feel like Myrna Loy in the “Thin Man” movies.
