Pomegranate Exfoliating Mask
I have always been a big fan of Murad. Every product that I have purchased or reviewed has always been
top of the line. When I was handed a sample of the Pomegranate Exfoliating Mask I was excited to give it a whirl.
Pomegranates have long been touted as a wonderful aide toward good skin. High in Antioxidants and Vitamin C it helps to fight the free radicals that our skin encounters.
All in all it sounds like a wonderful product to have at home and to use regularly. The exfoliating mask helps to reduce the fine lines and wrinkles while the pomegranate helps to replenish the damage.
Sounds great, right? I have to admit that I was both excited about and disappointed in this particular product.
The negative aspect was that the mask had a very thick texture. It felt as I was slathering my face with baby lotion.
I left it on for a very, very long time and it never completely dried plus it was rather difficult to wash off. Somehow the idea of wiping my face with lotion was not very appealing to me.
On the positive side…it worked really, really well. Once I was able to wash all the mask off. My face felt fresh, with a slight tingling sensation and not at all dry.
Would I use it again? Definitely. I liked the effect it had on my skin. I will just have to remember the baby lotion feeling and get over it.

Editor’s note: I sampled this product as well. I think the problem Christine may have had with the thickness of the product was the ample size of the sample. If she used the entire pack on her face, it would indeed have been very thick. The packet has more then enough to do the face neck and chest! My recommendation to Murad is either make a bottle of the product so we can control our own quantity or make the packet sizes smaller.

I have heard such wonderful things about Murad! I cannot wait to have the funds to invest in a great skincare routine. I will definitely be trying their products when the time comes. Great post!
