Honestly, I never know what to get my Mother-in-law for Christmas. The woman can buy what she likes, she shops for a hobby. She doesn’t have many interests (other than my kids) and every year I beg my husband for ideas. I usually end up giving her framed pictures (to add to her current shrine) or something handcrafted by the kids (like a ceramic plate or stepping stone!). I once got her a gift certificate to her favorite store. She hated it. I guess she would rather have something she won’t use or like than to shop for her own Christmas present. So, shopping for her is difficult, to say the least.
