PCA Skin pHaze 9 Purifying Mask Not for Everyone

I remember my mom using face masks as I was growing up. It was a routine that she swore by and my mom looks amazing. No one would guess that she was a day over 65 let alone 75. I long to follow in her footsteps and have everyone second guess my age.

So I was ecstatic to have the opportunity to try PCA Skin pHaze 9 Purifying Mask. The rich red algae and French red clay mask/scrub was a product that I had anticipated using and could not wait to get home to open the bottle.

The directions are simple: “Use once a week or as needed. Apply a thin, even layer over entire face. Leave on 3 – minutes. Remove with warm water and gentle circular motions.”

The scrub has a deep red clay color and light citrus scent which was very enjoyable as I applied it to my face. It required a very small amount and needed to be left on for only a few minutes.

As excited as I was to try it I was a bit disappointed once I had it on. There was a bit of discomfort with a slight stinging sensation. After a short time the stinging sensation subsided and the mask and my face were fine. Washing it off was a bit of task and I felt that the product still remained on my skin. It was a “fresh” feeling that I experienced.

As a mom the product is a bit on the expensive side for me but the positive note is that a little did go a very long way.
