    O’s Big Book of Happiness

    By Tammy | November 30, 2008

Don’t let the name fool you:  O’s Big Book of Happiness.  It’s actually a tear-jerker.  When you read it, have a box of Kleenex very near by as you are going to need it!

The stories shared in this book end well enough and you are encouraged by the strength of the people in the stories.  They make you want to be better at being who you are.  They make you want to embrace those you love and welcome new friends into your life.  The stories make you want to take care of your body and fight fiercely to keep it healthy.   They help you with self-doubt, loneliness, finances and many other topics that surround your world today.

Before you can feel empowered, you have to feel the pain of the authors sharing their stories.   Empowerment doesn’t happen until you first get through the story and gain some sort of internal power from the ones who struggled, suffered and fought really hard for the outcome they share with you.

If you are looking for some clarity, motivation or inspiration, O’s Big Book of Happiness: The Best of O, The Oprah Magazine: Wisdom, Wit, Advice, Interviews, and Inspiration is a great coffee table book for you to own.  It is also a wonderful gift for the holiday season as it’s a great read that anyone can appreciate!
