NEW Brazilian Blowout ZERO Said To Release 0% Formaldehyde

Brazilian Blowout Zero

Brazilian Blowout just released a new product called Brazilian Blowout Zero. Could this be the next generation of keratin hair treatments? This is the scoop:

“Brazilian Blowout ZERO uses a proprietary PLANT-DERIVED KeraSafe Bonding System to effectively deposit and seal essential amino acids onto the hair, providing a smooth, radiant, frizz-free surface up to 12 weeks.

With the new formula, there is said to be ZERO difference in the performance of the product:

I can’t wait to hear how this new product works or try it for myself! For more information regarding ZERO, including the chemical analysis (smart for Brazilian Blowout to include this information!!), check out the Brazilian Blowout website.

But how well does it work??  See results here, compared side-by-side to the original!

UPDATE 2/17/11:

  • This product uses a Kerasafe bonding system which is plant derived. The active ingredient is glycolic acid (found in sugar cane).
  • This product is not recommended on pregnant women. As a manufacturer we have taken the stance that we DO NOT want to test on pregnant or breastfeeding women.
  • From the Brazilian Blowout website, here is the full list of ingredients:

The original Brazilian blow out worked so well in my hair. however, I lost $ 300 in Brazilian Zero without any results in my thick coarse hair . The company do not want yo return be money.

Last Friday I t0discover and tried the ulta liquid Keratin and it work. My hair still curly as I want it but it is less frizzy. The only problem is that only will last one month. Does anyone know or had tried other liquid keratin treatments?
