Green Peas Kids’ mission is to make fashionable, fun, and affordable eco-friendly clothing available to all children.
All Green Peas clothes and accessories are designed and produced in the USA. The entire line features breathable and natural bamboo, organic cotton and hemp.
The company ships all continental US orders for free with re-usable wrapping and packaging.
When do you make time to run a business with your busy MOM schedule? Whenever possible, mostly after the baby us asleep, during her nap times and week-ends.
What is your favorite beauty tip? A refreshing walk on the beach.
What did your mother teach you about beauty and fashion? Nature makes every person beautiful, and it is our job not to spoil this beauty as time passes by. Also, the beauty is an internal feature, it is something that lies in our hearts and is transmitted through our look, face and words. If your thoughts are ugly, sooner or later your face will reflect it, if your thoughts are beautiful, the beauty will be in your face too.
What is your favorite outfit in your closet and why?
Jeans and polos, because they are comfortable. But I also love high heels.
What’s your favorite online site to shop for beauty or fashion?
I am more of a ‘touch and feel’ person when it comes to fashion and beauty, I normally shop at physical stores in near by cities. I love Anthropologie, Banana Republic and Sephora.
What motivates you to look your best? Not sure; partially my husband, partially the fact that I just have to look presentable, as a form of respect for other people on the street, in the restaurant, etc.
I am originally from Europe and there you do not go outside in your pajamas or in sweat pants, it is just not right.
As a mom, “Me Time” is limited… what are your time saving beauty tips?
I do not think there are any tips, you just have to do the best you can.
Name one beauty product you can’t live without: sun oils (I like the smell of them and it makes you feel relaxed, as if you were already on the beach)
Heels or flats? Describe your favorite pair.
Sneakers at home; high heels outside, definitely
What has been your worst fashion faux pas? I am sure that there have been so many, something like wearing too much cleavage to a baptism, when the whole family looked at me like I was crazy.
Lip gloss or Lip Stick? Do you have a favorite brand/color? Lip stick, but I do not usually use it; spending whole day in the house and on the beach does not call for any make-up or lip stick. With a 2 year old, you will end up with the sand all over your head anyway, so make up really does not matter. I just do not use it most of the time.
