In our world, where the market is saturated with big corporations with bottom-line goals, my line is simple; it’s created by a woman for women.
Lisa Hoffman Beauty is a company that has developed a line of skincare, bath and body products, and a fine fragrance line that combine the best of science and nature. Each of the collections provides the effortless convenience of a complete selection of products designed to perform synergistically to achieve maximum results.
What was your inspiration to start your business?
I’ve always been passionate about beauty and my company is the realization of a life long dream. When I became a wife and a mother, I made my family my first priority. I traveled and actually lived in many countries around the globe and while I was there, I immersed myself in the diverse cultures while educating myself on the local beauty secrets. I sometimes found myself collecting special herbs, essential oils and beauty products that were interesting and unique, knowing I would eventually take them home with me so I could experiment with them. I would always try to improve the products that I purchased by adding different ingredients, mixing and matching formulas, heating them; finding a way to make them more interesting or effective. I became so invested in my creations that I earned the title “kitchen chemist” from my family. When my youngest child went off to college I was finally able to turn my hobby into a reality.
When do you make time to run a business with your busy MOM schedule?
This line was created to simplify women’s lives, in terms of beauty, without compromising quality. Just one example is that all of my products are numbered and color-coded for ease of use. In my life, my family comes first. These days, all else is devoted to my business. I haven’t met a single woman, no matter whether she’s a full time mother or has a full time career or is managing both, who isn’t time stressed and could use some help!
What is your favorite beauty tip?
My mother is a natural Californian beauty, and while she took time to make sure she looked her best, she always believed that when you when walk out the door, you have to let it go and fully live life. It is something I strive to emulate to this day. I have always believed that confidence and security in oneself is more important than any product, make-up or otherwise.
What is your favorite beauty product to bring along when you travel?
My packettes have made packing a breeze. Each packette contains single-dose, numbered, ampoules of a complete, “no-muss-no-fuss,” skincare or body-care regimen.
Tell us about the outfit that makes you feel confident and beautiful.
I only feel confident and beautiful when I’m comfortable. Nothing is more important than the fit.

What motivates you to look your best?
Research states that anywhere from 70-93% of communication is received non-verbally, so it is important to be aware of the messages you are sending out and put your best foot, hand, and face forward.
As a mom, “Me Time” is limited… what are your time saving beauty tips?
I am constantly juggling a million things, and when it comes to beauty and taking care of myself, my approach is the same: multi-task! So, while giving myself a Facial, I will read the newspaper, answer emails, or, if I’m lucky, I will take a relaxing bath; I make my calls on speaker phone while I apply my make-up; I created my Spa Shower Body Oil to be applied while still wet in the shower, to remove the excess step and save time; I am always looking for ways to maximize my time.
Name one beauty product you can’t live without:
It would definitely be my Vitamin A & C Serum. I consider it liquid gold! Not only does it contain two of the most effective anti-aging ingredients, ensure proper cell turn over, and revitalize skin’s hydration, but it feels like silk and gives me such a beautiful glow.
Heels or flats? Describe your favorite pair.
Favorite tennis shoes: white canvas Superga
Favorite flats: Lanvin – in any color!

Lip gloss or Lip Stick? Do you have a favorite brand/color?
Gloss. I use my Spa Facial Lip Moisturizer. It moisturizes while acting as a gloss.
