When do you make time to run a business with your busy MOM schedule?
Everyday is mommy day..we relocated from New York City five years ago to California so that my husband and I could be hands on in our daughter’s daily schedule. We have a three floor level live-in workspace with a store front for our business, which allows us to be flexible.
What is your favorite beauty tip?
Love life and live every moment, be blessed with who you truly are!
What did your mother teach you about beauty and fashion?
My mom is a true feminine female, a model in her youth. To say the least I am the complete opposite, she taught me to be proud of whom I am and always be prepared for the unexpected.
What beauty/fashion tips will you be sure to share with your daughter, niece or neighbor girl as she grows?
My daughter has a sense of individuality and style. She is ten years old and knows what material things are. She understands what it means to earn a dollar and the value of it.
What is your favorite outfit in your closet and why?
Wow! That is easy my tennis shoes, at this day and age the diva has settled for comfy cozy.
What’s your favorite online site to shop for beauty or fashion?
I absolutely love Style.com it keeps me up with what is happening.
What motivates you to look your best?
To never forget how I started and were I am headed!
As a mom, “Me Time” is limited… what are your time saving beauty tips?
Early in the morning before the day starts I have my coffee, read my emails and check out the web. All day long I drink water and at night I make sure I clean my face and put on moisturizer.
Name one product you can’t live without:
Shu Uemura cleansing oil!
Heels or flats? Describe your favorite pair.
Love them all only on occasion! For everyday I wear my pumas all styles and colors.
Lip gloss or Lip Stick? Which brand/color?
“lebec cosmetics” but of course either one! I made sure my product met the demands of today’s woman and selected to have the highest in quality with simple packaging. This gives me the edge to be equal or if not better than my competitors.
Any additional comments on beauty and style you’d like to share:
Take the time to always re-invent yourself. When life gets to crazy remember that you are worth every moment and never let yourself be neglected. Take the time to find and seek professionals in their field to assist you in what ever you need. A new image with your hair, makeup, clothes shouldn’t be costly if you ask around and find someone within your budget. Be experimental and not afraid to change. And most importantly take care of your health – get a physical.
Editor’s Note: Lebec is one of the most inspiring moms I know. While we have only “met” once, we have shared a lot of emails and she is always full of wisdom and encouragement. She is truly a beautiful woman inside and out! Her family is equally as charming and you can tell her daughter is the apple of her eye!

Remember me? I wanted something special to celebrate my 60th birthday. I found you on the internet and you agreed to schedule an appointment for me the day of my party. You made me feel right at home like we had been friends forever. Your talents and expertise with make up transformed me into someone who felt really special that day. Thank you so much for that memory.

I love her make-up! for the older women out there you have to try it. It covers all my unwanted age spots! Time with her is full of tips for your health, beauty and inspiration. I love to be easy going everyday with my make-up. But when it’s time to go out on a date with my husband that’s different. I want him to check me out twice! That is how LeBec has taught me to wear my make-up!! Cool, but calm and easy and then Knock them out! Love ya, Chris

Well Lebec what can I say… You have always been a mentor and my big sister. Your words and advise still ring true. I remember the days as a makeup artist with you in New York City, and now I am in London working as a makeup artist and also a small business owner.
