When do you make time to run a business with your busy MOM schedule?
I’m an early riser. I need a lot less sleep than I used to- I think mommyhood does that to you. So I can get up, work a bit, then get quality time in with the girls before they go to school and I go the office. Plus, I have the help of our live in au pair and super supportive husband.
I also outsource lots of ‘non quality kid time’ household responsibilities- like having our groceries delivered and a housecleaner. Lastly, I have less than a mile commute. I’m happy to trade off a cool office in the city for being within 5 minutes of my daughters’ kindergarten so I can pop over and do my shift as recess mom. I make quality time with my girls happen. It works great for our family.
What is your favorite beauty tip? Morrocan Oil for hair. It’s amazing and smells so good.
What did your mother teach you about beauty and fashion? Self confidence is the most beautiful feature a woman can have.
Tell us about the outfit that makes you feel confident and beautiful. A well-cut and tailored dress, a stunning statement necklace and heels.
What’s your favorite online site to shop for beauty or fashion? Shopbop.com, but I still greatly prefer to shop in person!
What motivates you to look your best? Doing justice to our jewelry!
As a mom, “Me Time” is limited… what are your time saving beauty tips? Edit your wardrobe and organize your closet, and have some GREAT accessories, of course. It makes getting dressed in something great quick and easy.
Name one beauty product you can’t live without: Most days, I do live without makeup! But, I could never live without my Crème De Elegance Kiehls moisturizer, the sunscreen I now wear daily as penance for my years of sun worshiping and Lancome Definicils mascara.
Heels or flats? Describe your favorite pair. Heels. Metallic gold, platform, peep toe, Christian Louboutins.
Lip gloss or Lip Stick? Do you have a favorite brand/color? Gloss. Nars in Stella.

Great to meet you, Jessica! I love that you “outsource” non-quality kid time duties. That is so smart. Too many people outsource childcare when, instead, it would be so much better if they just hired someone to mop, grocery shop, meal plan, etc.
