Do you work from home or do you go to an office? I work from home.

Do you get yourself ready everyday or do you find yourself hanging out in jammies for a large portion of the day?
I get ready everyday BUT “ready” varies from one day to the next. I find that I feel much more “ready” in jeans than I do in lounge pants!

What is your favorite beauty tip?
I shower at night, after the kids are in bed. I don’t have to worry about interruptions and can just take my time and enjoy it. As Tammy mentioned in a previous blog I also find that doing my hair at night helps speed things up in the morning. I also find that I feel much more “put together” when my eyebrows are plucked. If they start looking scruffy, I feel scruffy so I try to keep up with them.

What did your mother teach you about beauty and fashion?
She was a bit of a minimalist in this area so I guess I learned that if I do the basics (blush, mascara and lip gloss) it can be enough to help you feel put together and that sometimes less is more.

What is your favorite outfit in your closet and why?
I have a pair of jeans that fit just right. I like to pair that with a long tank under a relaxed and stylish shirt. I like this outfit because it is comfortable yet fashionable for my day at home.

What motivates you to look your best?
The feeling that it gives me. I am more confident and that affects everything else in a positive way.

Any time saving beauty tips to share?
I like to buy clothing that can coordinate well with many outfits so it is easier to put something together in the morning no matter what is clean or dirty.

Name one product you can’t live without:
I use Clinique skin care and really like it.
