Brief Description of Your Business: Boutique Cafe is the world’s first boutique podcast for moms and momprenuers on the go. Our weekly shows feature all things boutique & inspired, highlighting topics of interest to fashion-savvy moms and momprenuers around the world (shopping, celebrities, women in business, parenting, organization, fashion and much more). Our goal is to give today’s woman a break from reality, and voila, inspire her for when she returns. Each weekday we also present the Daily Dish, featuring our favorite discoveries and product reviews for making life more pleasant. Whether it’s a new muse, a hot product, shopping for a trendy outfit or accessory, building your business, finding common interests in a tight knit community, or even organizing your home, Boutique Cafe is here to help.

What is your favorite beauty tip? That’s a great question. Sadly, I wasn’t blessed with long eye lashes so wearing mascara is a must. I love to bend my mascara brush at an angle, just slightly. This gives you much easier access and control to brush all of your lashes with color and make your eyes pop.

What did your mother teach you about beauty and fashion? My Mom is fairly conservative with her fashion, but she always looks beautiful and pulled together. She never leaves the house without lipstick, and taught me that no matter what you have on, if you wear a smile it makes you look 20 times better.

What is your favorite outfit in your closet and why? My current favorite outfit is some great fitting jeans, with a funky tee shirt and a fitted denim jacket. I also love to pair accessories like bracelets for a funky hip look. I also need to be casual while being a mom so this suits my lifestyle right now.

What’s your favorite online site to shop for beauty or fashion? I honestly love Charlotte Russe either online or instore. Their Refuge jeans fit me really well and I love their washes and styles. Super cute clothing at affordable rices. Of course, you can find great stuff at H&M as well!

What motivates you to look your best? Looking my best makes me feel good, I feel happier and more able to take things on if I’m dressed and good to go. I don’t have to look like a beauty queen, but if I’m pulled together it makes a huge difference to my day and what I accomplish. I also have a gorgeous husband and I like to look nice for him too.

As a mom, “Me Time” is limited. What are your time saving beauty tips? I have my makeup routine worked out to about 5-7 mins for daily wear. I do skin care treatments in the evening when I have a few more minutes for pampering time, but mornings are hectic so I have to do my makeup quickly. I also try to give my skin a breather and not wear foundation at least once a week (more in the summer time).

Name one product you can’t live without: That’s easy for me, it’s actually Lise Watier bronzer in “Havana Shimmer”. I love the beautiful pump bottle that it comes in, and the bronzer liquid is light and goes on evenly. It makes me feel refreshed in the cold climate that I live in. Dab a bit on the apples of your cheeks, nose, chin and forehead (basically anywhere the sun would naturally hit you). I love it!

Heels or flats? Describe your favorite pair. My favorite pair of shoes are my open toe, teal colored pumps. They look rockin’ with a great pair of jeans (a pedicure is a must).

Lip gloss or Lip Stick? Which brand/color? I actually use both a lipstick and then a gloss over top. Right now I use MAC lipstick in “Captive” and for gloss I adore Dermaglow instant Lip-Gloss Plumper in “pink”, it’s pretty and subtle. Oh and a smile of course!

Any additional comments on beauty and style you’d like to share: Sure!! I have recently discovered a skin care product that I would love to shout about from the rooftops. It’s a Dead Sea Facial Peel from Swisa Beauty Sensation Spa line. My husband purchased it for me as a little treat from a trip to Las Vegas. I have used it now once a week for the past few months and the result is extraordinary. My face feels so soft and it sloughs of the dead skin so gently. My pores are visibly smaller and I’m thrilled. It’s a product I will definitely keep in my regime for years to come.
