We teach women how to become their own beauty expert by first reading my book: Dressing Your Truth- Discover Your Personal Beauty Profile. Once a woman knows her Beauty Profile, she can purchase a membership at www.dressingyourtruth.com where we have state of the art online learning courses that teaches a woman to become a fashion and beauty expert with clothes, makeup, hair, jewelry, accessorizing and even skin care for her Type of beauty.

What was your inspiration to start your business?

As a pioneer in personal development field, I am very aware of how many women are at odds with their body and appearance and feel little help from the fashion system that in many ways sends them the wrong message- that they are the reason they don’t look and feel beautiful when the truth is they do not have practical tools that show them how to be. We give them those tools!

When do you make time to run a business with your busy MOM schedule?

I started my business 20 years ago when my children were small. I made time by

Having an incredibly supportive husband that never shied away from taking care of the kids, cooking, laundry and doing whatever he could to help the family routine keep going.
Hiring a house cleaner years ago.
Doing what I do best and hiring other people to help me with the rest.
Being okay with having “pizza night” even twice a week.

Now that my children are adults and 4 of the 5 are married, and my business has grown so much, 5 of my children and children-in-law work full-time for me! We have a GREAT family business now!

What is your favorite beauty tip?

Every woman has her own beauty sixth sense and needs to learn to trust it rather than thinking she should look good in every style and trend that comes along.

What is your favorite beauty product to bring along when you travel?

I have a travel size makeup kit that I always keep intact, so it is ready to go when I am. It is full of all my Dressing Your Truth makeup that is in my perfect color palette for my rich, dynamic nature!

Tell us about the outfit that makes you feel confident and beautiful.

I LOVE my animal print anything! I have shoes, sandals, some very hot, sexy jackets and even tops in rich, dynamic animal prints.

What motivates you to look your best?

Living my truth inside and out! Dressing Your Truth teaches a woman who she is inwardly, and how to show that to the world in her appearance. That is what motivates me to Dress My Truth!

As a mom, “Me Time” is limited… what are your time saving beauty tips?

Having the right color, cut and style for my hairs natural movement so it only takes me 10 minutes to have every day be a great hair day!

Name one beauty product you can’t live without:

My Dressing Your Truth Brow Powder. Filling in your eyebrows with brow powder frames your face and brings your eyes alive, it is amazing. If I didn’t use it, I honestly would feel naked.

Heels or flats? Describe your favorite pair.

Mid-heels! Sandals! They have an animal print fabric band across the toes, a rich brown wedge heel, they are super comfy and look hot!

When a woman does not look good in the latest styles and trends her first conclusion is it’s not the clothes it’s me, I am too fat! Women that are not even too fat draw this conclusion. When in reality it is most likely the wrong design lines, fabrication, texture or even color that is not right for their Type of beauty. When a woman wears clothes that are not right for her, she blames her body and her age as to why she feels like she is losing her beauty! We teach women the truth about their beauty and how to dress it so every day they feel and look amazing!
