When do you make time to run a business with your busy MOM schedule?
This is an interesting question… These days where and whenever I can get it done. The demands of the children in school are so great that I find myself absorbed in their schoolwork from the time they get home from school till they go to bed. I work many late nights and early mornings

What is your favorite beauty tip?
Dark Circles under your eyes – Help! I inherited them and believe me, as I get older they just get darker. Chamomile wet and placed in the freezer. A half-hour before you put your makeup on dampen the teabags and relax on the bed for 10 min. You will be so surprised at how much they disappear. NOTE: Must be chamomile teabags.

What did your mother teach you about beauty and fashion?
To always be the best you can be…from the inside out. Put yourself together both physically and when you speak.

What beauty/fashion tips will you be sure to share with your daughter, niece or neighbor girl as she grows?
To be the best she can be and it is o.k. too be natural, not a toothpick and cute as a button when you speak…. Worry more about what is inside because there is nothing like inner beauty.

What is your favorite outfit in your closet and why?
I do not have a favorite right now. I am looking forward to skinny jeans in the near future… Right now shoulder pads are my best friends.

What’s your favorite online site to shop for beauty or fashion?
MakeUp Connection- I really like many of Alexis Vogel’s products. She is a fabulous make up artist and shares great tips that work.

What motivates you to look your best?
My surroundings. If you walk the walk and talk the talk, then an important part is presentation. I am always put together, even on a camp out.

As a mom, “Me Time” is limited… what are your time saving beauty tips?
Nothing like a quick meditation or 20 min. catnap in a nice relaxing bath. This can be so invigorating

Name one product you can’t live without:
Studio Fix by MAC. The best!

Heels or flats? Describe your favorite pair.
I prefer flats day to day as I am pretty tall. Definitely heels for dress or a special occasion

Lip-gloss or Lip Stick? Which brand/color?
Lip Gloss by Alexis Vogel. Great stuff!

Any additional comments on beauty and style you’d like to share:
Shoulder pads are my best friend. I am sure you are thinking to yourself…. “dated”
Not in my wardrobe. They help define the waist and what is better then appearing like you have an hourglass waist????
