More Maxi Dresses for Spring

Did you buy a maxi dress last summer when they were so in style? Good news for you, the trend continues into spring!

Tie Dye Maxi Dress in Burgundy/Orange $100.10

I didn’t buy one last season and I’m not sure that I’ll buy one this season.  While I’m fortunate to have the height, I don’t know that I could pull off the look without looking (and feeling) frumpy!  So much fabric….!  How about you?

I think it’s a pretty, bohemian, “just-stepped-off-the-beach” look. But it’s only flattering on the select few. I’m just shy of 5’5″ with an average-thin frame (when I’m not pregnant…) and I don’t think I could pull off the look very well.

You’d have to do your hair just right (think braids or loose waves), lots of chunky jewelry and the perfect sandal. Even with the right body type, it would be a lot of work to pull it off well. I like the mid-calf length better.

I will say that the look IS cute on pregnant mamas though. Stephanie, you may want to consider ;)
