My friend and I were sitting, watching our children play softball during their PE class today. We noticed the air was a bit cool and we moved into the sun as the shadows fell on us. We reflected that just a month ago we were moving to the shade, now we gravitate toward the warmth. As the new year comes around, we’ll be sitting freezing as we watch. I know what jacket I’ll be wearing a LOT this winter… Lands’ End Luxe Down Coat!
While looking at the parka that I received last year for editorial review, I wouldn’t necessarily think of it as a luxury coat but I will say the warmth it provides IS luxurious! And it will be priceless to me when sitting on that cold PE field in the coming months! Now, I know there are many places much colder than Southern California in the winter! There is a reason I live here and not in Colorado (though I may like to move there one day and it will require a major adjustment!).
