While the magazine says we can buy the beanie at udtfashion.com for $28, I couldn’t find it. Instead, I came up with this cute alternative that is lighter and more appropriate for cooler Fall days when a heavier wool blend isn’t called for yet.

I think the lightweight design of this “vintage beanie” makes it more wearable. The heavier version that Kate wears would make me look like I was ready for the slopes…especially in California where a heavy hat is so rarely needed.
