Jane By Design Blogger Challenge #1: What Inspires My Look

Gray Chandler Murray from Donovan Decker sent me an email. She is looking for an official Donovan Decker blogger. She is a hard core, no-nonsense lady and maybe just a bit intimidating. Just a bit.

I’m actually not in the market for a job but I am in the market for promoting my business and having some fun while being challenged to do so. I have volunteered to be a part of the Jane by Design Blogger Challenge and am hoping that if I impress Gray with creativity and productivity I have a shot at getting A Mom in Red High Heels mentioned on the new TV show, Jane By Design, set to air January 3, 2012 on ABC Family.

Here was part of the email:

“For this phase of the interview process, take the $50 gift card I sent you and go shopping. When you return, shoot a video of your shopping haul and post it to your own blog… Impress me with your originality. A video of what you bought at the most fabulous boutique could bore me to tears. A video of what you bought at the grocery store could fascinate me. Or bore me to tears. I shop around the world from Mumbai to Tokyo to Sydney looking for inspiration, and sometimes I don’t know what I’m looking for until I see it.”

I interrupted this to mean I need to show what inspires me and why. Here it is:
