Let’s celebrate moms in a big way! Let’s do a TV pilot dedicated to moms who have achieved great things, are making a difference and following their dreams! Let’s call the show “It’s Mom’s Nite!”
WOW! What a concept and I got to be a part of the filming of the pilot! Can I just say it was an AMAZING experience?!?! There was a WONDERFUL group of moms involved in putting together this pilot show! I can not express to you the sheer pleasure I had in being surrounded by such positive, successful moms (which, btw, includes the wonderful moms in the front row of the audience that I got to chat with for a while)! As for the pilot being picked up by a network, we are praying…! There will be lots of editing and presenting of the project but we all have a great feeling that the show will be picked…who can resist a celebration of moms?!
Here are some pictures of my day:
This is the stage set-up. Love the sign!
This is where the makeup magic happens. I had my makeup done so many times on this day! No wonder actresses get facials so often! It’s not pampering for them- it’s necessity!
Sandra and Lisa from B’s Purses. These ladies, along with partner Susan, have created a multi-million dollar company designing handbags. Check out their story and learn how this amazing company is enabling moms all over the nation to take control of their finances!
Celebrity mom McKenzie Westmore, best known on TV as Sheridan Crane from Passions. McKenzie was the celebrity mom guest and one of the four hosts for It’s Mom’s Nite. I loved her outfit (I’m going to find out where to buy it!) and her hair!
The fabulous brains behind the project, Angelyna Martinez Boyd. This woman is a positive ball of energy and I can’t wait to work with her again!
Francis Dilorinzo is one funny woman! She is one of the four hosts on the show and presented a VERY funny stand-up routine! Trust me, it was a great stress relief for me to listen to her as I was up after her! Her routine had me rolling and there is nothing better than laughter to lose the nerves! Check out her Mommy Madness routine!
Mari Deno is another of the hosts! She interviewed me during my segment. I love this woman! She is fabulous! Mari has hosted events for the Oscars, the Emmys and the Grammies!
At the end of a long day, I come home to my own adorable kiddos…
and amazing husband…thanks for watching the kids all day, hon! xo!
Some of the other guests on the show were singer/songwriter Arlene Kole and her group (which included her 20 year-old daughter and husband), musical guests 33 & Lex and DJ Mia who rocked the house for us! Like I mentioned, it was an amazing day. I have more to share but will save the rest for later…

Tammy….talk about looking “hot” that day. You hit a bulls eye! It was great having you as a special guest and adding the reminder that we all need to be and feel like women…in addition to being moms!!!
Lots of love and laughs!
