In fashion, the winter wardrobe is cleared out in January to make room for the spring collections. Purchasing a classy winter coat on clearance in January still gives you a month or two to wear it this season, and it will be practically new when you pull it out in late Fall. Shopping end-of-season sales takes diligence and focus. Knowing what piece you are looking for -a black wool coat, for example- keeps you focused when shopping so you don’t find 20 other things that you want!
