CAbi (Carol Anderson by invitation) brings high-quality clothing and the ultimate personal shopping experience directly to you! At the bi-annual Scoop event, the spring/summer collection was showcased for the CAbi Consultants in attendance. Let me just tell you, the energy was HIGH! I’ve never been to a more fun fashion show. I absolutely adored the personality of the models who worked the runway. I appreciate that CAbi uses both 20 year old and 50 year old models, as well as a variety of body shapes on the runway. I can tell you, CAbi knows how to create styles for real-world women!
The catalog for the Spring/Summer 2012 Collection, and video footage used during the fashion show, was done in Montana. Before even viewing the collection, I was biased because my daughter’s name is Montana (named after football great, Joe Montana, not the state but never-the-less, the fact that CAbi worked in Montana makes me love the collection!). As I watched the show unfold, I became a fan of the brand for their joy, vision and opportunity for every day women to make a career in fashion work for their lives!
Take a look and you’ll get a sense of what I experienced:
From the runway:
The trends for CAbi Spring 2012 include yellow, patterns and florals, nautical and maxi (dress/skirt). Get more info about the collection inspiration on CAbi Canary.
After the runway show, we enjoyed a fabulous meal at La Cena located in the Gaslamp District in San Diego.
The menu of margaritas and 3 sampler guacamole appetizer were completely scrumptious!
After a full tummy, CAbi invited us to shop the night away. A HUGE convention center hall was FILLED with “vintage” CAbi! All the past collections were available for purchase and believe me, women where purchasing (do you see the giant bags?)! I’ll be showcasing the items I purchased compliments of CAbi in future posts.
Here are my favorite pieces from the Spring 2012 collection:
You can view the new collection on cabionline.com. The way you shop the current collection is to contact a CAbi Consultant (the website can help you find one near you!) To shop “vintage” CAbi, visit a CAbi Outlet. If you are looking for a new career and want it to be flexible, consider looking into a career as a CAbi Consultant! Women, fashion and networking…what could be wrong with that? (seriously, the energy of the consultants at the Scoop was amazing and contagious. A great group to be a part of!)
Thank you to CAbi for the amazing experience of enjoy their Scoop, shopping their vintage collections and for the photos used here. Silly me, I brought the camera, forgot the camera card!
