The last 18 months have been hard on my skin. I jumped in, with 110% enthusiasm, to the life of a web boutique owner. I owned a boutique prior to but made a name change and got serious about making a name for the site. In doing so, I spent MANY LONG hours on the computer late into the night. I know all of you moms who have businesses from home understand this. You have to work when the kids sleep. Well, my skin has suffered. I have aged.
Today, my family and I were looking at the “Memory Boxes” from the first year of my kid’s lives My hubby and I were shocked to see how much we have aged since our first son was born 6.5 years ago. Ugh. I mean really…UGH! Now, I know that I contributed with sun damage in my earlier years but the lack of consistent, good sleep has caught me.
Experts say you need eight hours of sleep a night. I say, when you are a mom, “Yeah Right” but I suppose I should strive for 6.5. Without the sleep you need, you’ll look older and your skin will look drier because your skin renews itself as you sleep. Too little sleep can make your skin look tired and dull. Sleep renews and refreshes us and is vital for good health and beauty.
So, I’ve aged (For you young mamas, it sucks…DON’T neglect your skin and what keeps it healthy!) Now it’s time to really pay attention to my skin care and makeup routines. I’ll need to switch some products out and bring in the “heavy guns” in terms of anti-aging products. I’ll also need to remove some products from my makeup bag…that’s never fun. It’s kind of like having to throw out your favorite jeans because they are just too worn. Oh, and I guess I should get to bed earlier! That would help…

I highly recommend the RE9 line!! You will see results.
I personally love the MD skincare line. Their alpha bet daily face peel system is great, lines and wrinkles are softened and your skin texture is improved. They also have a hydrating mask, love it, makes your skin feel like a babies bum!
