I Must Have Liner…

Ever since I was in 8th grade, I’ve worn eyeliner. Mostly black but I do venture out and wear brown, purple and have an occasional blue day. A while back I talked about the Revlon Eye Makeup Eraser Pen. I raved about it’s ability to erase the smudged black line that forms as my liner wears during the day. One reader remarked that she hasn’t had problems with her liner running or smearing. I thought, “Everyone has that problem, how can she not?” Then she commented again leaving a lovely tip…what brand of liner she uses! It’s a gem of a detail!MAXeye Liner by Max Factor

Her recommendation? MAXeye Eyeliner by Max Factor! I eventually tracked it down at a local drugstore and purchased it in Night Club- the darkest color available in this brand- black. I actually needed to use it right then as I had a coffee date with my friend and hadn’t had a chance to touch up my makeup! I applied it using the dim lights and mirror of the car. I found it to glide on smoothly and I didn’t feel that I needed to add extra smudging to make it look less severe as black liner sometimes does. (I meant to check it again once I got to the coffee shop but forget… I hope it looked as good as I thought it did!)

The true test came when I applied it the next morning. I’d be wearing it all day…would it smudge, smear and cause the dreaded raccoon eyes? No! It didn’t! The next day, still skeptical, I kept my eye on it and found it to stay put! Wow- this really does work as promised! Thanks Ailene for the tip!
