Looking for a unique hairstyle to wear to an outdoor gathering, art gallery viewing or road trip? Try this fabulous fishtail side-braid! Rodney Cutler, and his team of stylists, created the look above for the Levi’s Fall 2010 Men’s + Women’s presentation on March 31. The style is casual chic and very romantic!
Done in 4 simple steps, this hairstyle will have the compliments flowing!
- Spray Cutler Volumizing Spray into damp hair, and blow dry with your hands.
- Secure a ponytail slightly off-center.
- Fishtail braid the ponytail: Start by splitting the hair in two sections. On the right hand side, take a small outside section and bring over and under with the left hand side.
- Repeat with the left hand side, and continue until you get to the bottom of the ponytail. Secure with an elastic, and lightly pull it loose to create a disheveled feel.
The fishtail side-braid is a great way to experiment with new styles for spring and summer!
