As the afternoon events were finishing up, I had the opportunity to get my makeup done by Taylor Babaian. She is a mom of 2, an author and professional makeup artist. She has many high profile clients and it was pretty cool to have her apply my makeup!
Earlier in the afternoon we had discussed the look of the smokey eye. She and I both agreed that “smokey” did not have to mean using grays. Gray makes my eyes look “dirty” (there are various reasons for this but that is another post topic…). To demonstrate her talents in creating the smokey eye, she chose the L’Oreal Wear Infinite Eye Shadow Quad in Landscape to create my look. The gold tone in this palette was main color she used. She also used the color over my peachy toned blush to add a hint of glimmer.
The look turned out warm and pretty! I’m now a huge fan of the Landscape palette! What do you think?

Ok my loves, I’m out for the night. It’s been a fun day. Not as many celebrity interviews as I had hoped but I did talk to a couple of amazing moms who are also authors of beauty/fashion books! More on this to come. I’ll also be bringing you plenty of great beauty tips from the beauty team!
