Help Needy Kids Get Back-to-School Basics

Paper or Plastic? Neither for “90210’s” Jennie Garth who was the first to purchase a one-of-a-kind, reusable shopping bag from T.J. Maxx. For every bag purchased through back-to-school season, the off-price retailer will donate basics for families in need benefiting Save the Children.
As the new school year approaches, many parents and kids are getting ready by purchasing new school supplies and clothing. However, for children living in rural poverty in the United States, getting just the basic necessities to go back to school can be a challenge. Beginning on August 3, all T.J. Maxx stores will carry limited edition reusable shopping bags for $0.99. The bags are designed with Save the Children original children’s artwork, and for each bag purchased, T.J. Maxx will donate one basic item such as; socks, underwear and backpacks to Save the Children’s U.S. programs, up to 25,000 items. This initiative marks 25 years of partnership for T.J. Maxx and Save the Children.
In addition to the limited edition bag, T.J. Maxx will also be hosting its annual in-store fundraising program. From July 26 – August 22 customers can donate $1 to Save the Children’s U.S. Programs.
I own this reusable shopping bag and trust me it is a great value (like all things TJ Maxx) for $0.99! Please, help in the efforts to provide back-to-school basics for children in need by purchasing your bag this month!
