The only one that works (temporarily at least) for me are the Sally Hansen wax strips – you just rub them in your hands to warm the wax. They are not messy and they work pretty good!
I’ve used these too but my skin stays red for a LONG time after use. I’ve not tried them again but still have a box in my bathroom.
