It doesn’t have to be fancy! Packing it full of drugstore favorites will make them feel welcomed and happy to be thought of.

My college age daughter is coming home! I want this to be a special Christmas for her as this is the year she graduates. I expect many of her friends and I want the house to be as welcoming and ready as possible. These are great common sense ideas…that I never think about for guests. Thank you!

Both my husband and I are from NJ so our families are there. We usually go to my brother’s for Thanksgiving for lunch and my husband’s cousin for dinner. We are certainly stuffed like turkeys when we’re done. The next day this year on Black Friday we are heading into NYC for the Radio City Christmas Show. Grandparents and family from both sides are going so that’s 15 of us. Should be a blast.

This year will be a little different. We are not going to be with family, instead we are taking a small trip to Yorktown VA for a couple of days. We’ll have thanksgiving dinner at a restaurant there. It should be nice, to just escape from all our cares and worries, and just ENJOY. We’ll be at a motel that is right on the York River, and that will be nice, too. We are truly blessed.
