Be a Good Hostess

ponds original clean towelettes

A very wise beauty tip once told me that being a good hostess means I need to help my guests feel at home.  Seems pretty obvious, I know.  Supplying a beauty basket of goodies that they might need while visiting is an excellent way to help them feel right at home! It doesn’t have to be fancy! Packing it full of drugstore favorites will make them feel welcomed and happy to be thought of.
Q-tips Vanity Pack
Consider including:

  • Toothpaste
  • Ponds Wet Cleansing Towelettes
  • Dove Clinical Protection Deodorant
  • Dental Floss
  • Vaseline Sheer Infusion Body Lotion
  • Q-tips Vanity Pack
  • Dove Therapy Volume Shampoo and Conditioner

Keep treating them like your own and they may just move in!

Both my husband and I are from NJ so our families are there. We usually go to my brother’s for Thanksgiving for lunch and my husband’s cousin for dinner. We are certainly stuffed like turkeys when we’re done. The next day this year on Black Friday we are heading into NYC for the Radio City Christmas Show. Grandparents and family from both sides are going so that’s 15 of us. Should be a blast.

  48. May Schultz says:

This year will be a little different. We are not going to be with family, instead we are taking a small trip to Yorktown VA for a couple of days. We’ll have thanksgiving dinner at a restaurant there. It should be nice, to just escape from all our cares and worries, and just ENJOY. We’ll be at a motel that is right on the York River, and that will be nice, too. We are truly blessed.

  49. Stephanie says:

I know I missed the giveaway, but I just want to say that I think having beauty products on-hand for guests is a fabulous idea! I always try to have shampoo, conditioner, soap, and extra toothbrushes available at minimum.
