Two weekends ago I went to the Glendale Galleria to give the Express Makeover a try. I met up with Beauty Task Force member and keratin hair treatment specialist Jordana Lorraine, PR rockstar Victoria from RocketXL, expecting mama Caryn from RockinMama and Sarah, the one with the always gorgeous hair from Hair Thursday. Together we put the beauty experts at Sephora to the test.
From left to right:
Caryn: received a smokey eye and a pouty lip. She was heading to a birthday dinner with her family and wanted her makeup appropriate for her event.
Sarah: High Definition Makeup and a pouty lip. I featured Sarah’s perfect balance of neutral eyes and glossy pout on Daily Makeover’s Beauty Street. It’s the perfect look for any mom in need of easy makeup!
Jordana: Brave Jordana. She asked for a candy eye. She is wearing bold shades of turquoise, purple and pink. The colors suite her and were a great choice for our evening out after the makeover. She also received “the perfect pout”.
Victoria: A PR rockstar needs picture perfect skin. Victoria had the high definition makeup applied and smokey eyes in browns. She bought the Make Up Forever HD products and promises a full report!
A Mom in Red High Heels…(or not, I actually wore black booties but wouldn’t you know, EVERYONE asked where my red heels were. Lesson learned!): I had the high definition makeup applied as well because finding the right combination of face products is tricky. I also asked for the Dark Lip Trend but was talked into a bright red lip. It was bold and fun but I wasn’t quite sure how to smile for the picture with it on- too big a smile would just be way too much mouth!
After saying our goodbyes to Caryn and Sarah, Victoria, Jordana and I ventured deeper into LA for a little girl’s night out. We chowed down Mexican food and caught a showing of The September Issue. The night was as fabulous as our new makeup.

I think is such a great idea. Women forget to pampered themselves. Every woman should do it at least once a month. I think is so much fun to get together with few friends on a Friday or Saturday night, have your makeup done and go out. You get the chance to try new make-up trends and products as well. I just love this idea.

I had so much fun this night! I would recommend the Sephora Express Service to anyone. I requested the Candy Eyes because I like bright colors, but when I wear them I always feel like I let my nephew draw on my face with crayons…
