Get My Look on It’s Mom’s Nite
As you can imagine, selecting an outfit to wear on television that represents who you are and the business you are representing is a big decision! I was asked to bring a few outfits for the stylist to pick from, nothing white, no small print and oh, of course, wear your red high heels. So, pretty much I could wear black, gray or silver. The show’s theme was Moms Nite Out so it had to be HOT.
I brought a black dress, black capri pants, a silver tunic tank top and a gray sleeveless tunic plus 2 pairs of red high heels to select from. In the end, I ended up wearing the black capri pant, silver tunic tank and the original red high heels that this website is named for.
Now, I am a mom on a budget so name brands are out for me. I would have splurged on a dress had I found a really great one that I couldn’t live without but since that didn’t happen, I spent the money on several budget pieces. In the end, I think the outfit was appropriate and diverse (we didn’t want too much black on the stage!). The great thing about the outfit is that each piece can be worn separately and with many different outfits…talk about getting my money’s worth!
