Courtney asked for our opinion on her hair issues recently. She was tired of her ponytail and was ready for a change.  She pretty much knew what she wanted but she needed a little encouragement to give her the courage to cut of several inches of healthy hair!

Erin from Salon Hive and My Hairstyling Tools helped Courtney take the plunge and add a some highlights for a sexy new look.

Courntney after her hair makeover

What Courtney said about her new look:

Thank you and Erin so much for your encouragement and advice!!! I got my hair cut this week and absolutely LOVE it. I also got highlights like Erin suggested – however since I’ve never colored my hair before, I chose very subtle, natural highlights to start with.

My husband was so sweet! He said that he hadn’t thought it possible for me to get any cuter, but the new hairstyle definitely looked cuter on me 🙂 ”

I love a happy ending!  Courtney, you look sexy, sophisticated and so fun!  I hope you embrace your new look!

Thank you to Erin for her help in this wonderful hair makeover!

  2. What a great “real mom makeover.” I love the new ‘do…and the highlights are quite pretty. I agree that the shorter style is very sophisticated…and perfect for summer too!
