Found: Chunky Eternity Scarf Pattern! Time to Start Knitting!

Hurray for Vickie Howell, crafting mom extraordinaire! Vickie is most well-known as the Host and Creative Consultant of 8 seasons of DIY Network & HGTV’s show, Knitty Gritty. I “met” Vickie online at OpenSky and asked her if she would collaborate with me on a pattern for a chunky eternity scarf. Vickie was happy to create a pattern for you and she got started right away while at her kid’s soccer game!
It seems rather difficult to locate a pattern online but I know you’ve been searching for one, so here it is…
This is one great looking chunky eternity scarf. If you want it longer than shown, just continue the knitting until you have the length you desire to wrap around your neck.

Size US 11 (8mm) needles
2 small stitch holders
Tapestry needle
Gauge:
12 sts x 14 rows= 4” (10cm) in St st
Finished Size:
36” in circumference

That’s really pretty. I’ve been following your posts on eternity scarves and I’m happy you are now able to make one! If I knitted very well at all, I’d give it a try.

Sito, I don’t knit either…I’m kind of hoping someone really sweat will knit me one with this pattern
