Why would anyone wear false eyelashes?

I’ve never worn them but I need to give it a try. I have very wimpy lashes that would probably benefit from some false eyelashes
I used to wear them years ago when I danced, and continued to wear them to special events in my life after. I LOVE false lashes, and would wear them every day if I could!
Several years ago, I wore false lashes every day. They never harmed my own lashes, as it’s all a matter of knowing the proper way to apply and remove them. As my kids got older, I found myself without that much spare time to spend on myself and had to pare my “primping-time” WAAAAAY back! False lashes fell by the wayside, but I still remember how great they made my eyes look and how glamourous they made me feel. Funny—until I read this, I hadn’t really thought about trying them again, but it’s suddenly re-spiked my interest in them!
Never tried them
No particular reason just never had the pleasure to try them out. I should totally try some and do a before and after picture just to see for myself.

I love them sooo much! I have straight and thin lashes so they really open my eye when I wear them. They make my eyes look sexier! I always get compliments when I wear them and they look great in photos. Although, I don’t wear them everyday because it seriously is too much work. But on special nights out I’ll make the effort
I’ve tried and failed, but I’m still looking for something that will work for me. I haven’t written them off just yet.
How funny! I just tried false lashes on Friday for the first time. Loved them! My friend, who works for Clinique, showed me how to put them on and I got so many compliments…not on my lashes but on my makeup. I would love to get some new lashes cuz the ones I used will only last me for one more wear.

Yes, I have worn them and yes, I like the way the look but only for very fun occasions.
Never tried putting them on myself and would love to try. I did have the singles placed on my eyes by a makeup artist and the difference was amazing.
I used to wear the individual lashes several years ago, because I could not apply the strips. They were easy to apply, however they used to clump together, giving an unnatural appearance. Upon viewing YouTube, there are many tutorials on how to install the strips, and the makeup gurus demonstrate wonderfully on how to apply them and I would like to start to wear them again.

Wow, I just stumbled on your blog… no, I’ve never tried false lashes but have recently (finally, at age 34) gotten into makeup and hair and was JUST thinking that they would be exactly the right thing for an upcoming event. It’s work-related so I will have a very simple and elegant look… but dang I also want that POP of something dramatic and beautiful. I’m researching pretty evening eye looks right now. Lashes would totally do it – thanks for the great site!
