Ladies, many of you shared with me on Facebook that white is absolutely OUT when you are a mom. I beg to differ.

Let’s not forget that as moms, we also HAVE A LIFE OUTSIDE OF KIDS! We do (and if you don’t, please get one!). When you are at brunch with a friend, dinner with your honey or attending a business mixer, you can enjoy your white clothes if you fear wearing them around your kids!

However, I have to tell you, I wore these ELLE Contemporary Collection white Cuffed Denim Capri from Kohl’s at Zion National Park (in case you don’t know, Zion is all about RED rock…even the pavement on the road is red!) AND while making, serving, eating and cleaning up super saucy ribs the other night. Neither time did I have to run to change, spray the pants and wash them. You wear an apron. You watch wear you sit. I do this with any color of outfit, don’t you?

On a recent shopping trip to Tanger Outlet, I spoke with the Quicksilver store manager, LeeAnn, about the hottest spring/summer trends from Quicksilver and Roxy.  Wanting some sporty, beachy fashions for your family and yourself? Watch this video!

Brights and prints…no surprise there! Didn’t you just love that teal and pink dress/top?  Such a great combination of two spring/summer trends! I love that Roxy is featuring the “friendship bracelet” look on their apparel and shoes. What a great detail to incorporate into the design!

There is something for everyone at Quicksilver! My husband purchased a pair of Quicksilver cargo shorts and my daughter tried on a few pieces. I shopped some shorts for my son (who was reading in the dressing room…ha!) and of course, flip-flops galore!
