Fall Makeup Trend: Pretty Power Pouts

Looking for an instant makeover? This Fall the hot trend is Power Pouts: dark, sexy and sultry. What better way to sass up your look than with a new trendy lip color? It’s a quick, effective way to look stunning!
To get the perfect Power Pout, outline lips with dark liner, blending the color in towards the center of the lip. Next,apply a deep-tone lipstick using a lip brush for perfect shading. Continue to fill between the lines, and blend well. Want more drama? Apply a lip mattifier to remove all shine.
Use caution with this trend as dark lips colors can be aging! The Top 10 Makeup Felonies tells us that you should avoid lining lips with dark lip liner at all costs, especially if you’re not planning to fill them in. If dark lips are a look you’re deeply attached to, try a different version of it. Shift to a dark lip gloss if you must, or a sheer version of what you’re used to.
